ARRIVING IN CANADA

The Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) manages the movement of people and goods into Canada. Become familiar with Canada’s customs regulations by visiting the Canadian Boarder Service Agency.

Do you require Electronic Travel Authorization?

If you arrive to Edmonton International Airport directly from your international destination, you will clear Canada customs in Edmonton.

If you arrive to Canada via another airport such as Toronto or Vancouver, you will clear Canada customs at your first port of entry. Once you fly onward to Edmonton, you will arrive as a domestic passenger.

When you arrive to Edmonton, make sure to stop by our welcome booth where you will meet volunteers who give you key information on orientation and next steps.

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS TO THE CITY

Taxis are available from the Edmonton International Airport. A flat rate from the airport to downtown Edmonton is approximately $55.

Sky Shuttle provides a bus service between the airport and several locations and major hotels in Edmonton. A one way fare costs $15.

ETS Route 747 is an express bus service that runs between the airport and Century Park bus and LRT station providing superb transit connections across the city. A one-way fare costs $5 cash paid to the driver or 2 adult ETS tickets (valid for Route 747 only).
